Chocolate Watch Band
No Way Out
LIMITED EDITION Compact Disc - $14.98
(LP also available)
No Way Out, the thrilling debut album by the Chocolate Watch Band, immediately finds that cosmic sweet-spot of perfect garage-rock traction: where the rubber meets the road and the train keeps a-rollin.' Nobody ever did Mick Jagger any better (even Mick, himself) than the Watch Band's frighteningly superb frontman Dave Aguilar.

Chocolate Watch Band
The Inner Mystique
LIMITED EDITION Compact Disc - $14.98
(LP also available)
The Inner Mystique, the hypnotic second album by the Chocolate Watch Band, takes up exactly where its sacred predecessor left you: looking for your perfect match at the local Love-In. When Watch Band lead singer par excellence Dave Aguilar grabs you by the lapels and tells you "I'm Not Everybody Else," you have no choice but to believe him. He's not. And when he cools down enough to extol the virtues of "Medication," who could doubt his sincerity?

Blue Cheer
Vincebus Eruptum
LIMITED EDITION Compact Disc - $14.98 MONO EDITION
(LP also available)
Blue Cheer looms large in the annals of hard rock, laying down the sonic foundations of heavy metal and serving as a crucial influence on the birth of punk, grunge and stoner rock. While the rest of the rock world was mellowing out and embracing the spirit of the Summer of Love, the seminal San Francisco power trio was churning out ballsy blues-rock anthems whose fuzz-heavy, adrenaline-charged intensity helped to alter the course of contemporary music.

Blue Cheer
Outsideinside
LIMITED EDITION Compact Disc - $14.98
(LP also available)
Blue Cheer’s second album, Outsideinside, fully matches its predecessor’s primal power. The last Blue Cheer release to feature the beloved lineup of Stephens, Peterson and Whaley, Outsideinside is a bracing orgy of volume, distortion and aggression, with such highlights as “Just a Little Bit,” “Come and Get It,” the instrumental “Magnolia Caboose Babyfinger” and the band’s distinctive take on the Rolling Stones’ “Satisfaction.”

The Strawberry Alarm Clock
Incense and Peppermints
LIMITED EDITION Compact Disc - $14.98
(LP also available)

The Strawberry Alarm Clock made musical history with its first single, the infectiously psychedelic "Incense and Peppermints," which topped the singles charts in December 1967. It remains one of the Aquarian Age's most enduring anthems. And as the California combo's debut LP demonstrates, there was a lot more to the Strawberry Alarm Clock than their iconic trademark hit. Incense and Peppermints combines gorgeously melodic flights with a Sunset Strip sensibility...[COMPLETE INFO]

The Blues Project
Projections MONO EDITION
LIMITED EDITION Compact Disc - $14.98
(LP also available)
1966's Projections is generally regarded as the Blues Project's best—the studio album features the legendary lineup of keyboardist Al Kooper, guitarists Danny Kalb and Steve Katz, bassist Andy Kulberg and drummer Roy Blumenfeld. At the time of its release, Projections quickly became a fixture on underground radio and featured seminal tracks such as "I Can't Keep from Crying," the '60s garage anthem "Wake Me, Shake Me," Kalb's epic blues showcase "Two Trains Running," and others...

The Druids of Stonehenge
Creation
LIMITED EDITION Compact Disc - $14.98
(LP also available)
The New York-based Druids of Stonehenge―frontman Dave Budge, guitarists Carl Hauser and Bill Tracy, bassist Tom Workman and drummer Steve Tindall―exemplified both the surly essence of teen garage-punk and the experimental spirit of psychedelia. The band formed in 1965 as a scrappy, R&B-influenced teen combo in the Rolling Stones/Pretty Things mold. By 1968, the Druids had fused psychedelia to their wild garage roots, relocated to the West Coast and signed with the UNI label.

Fever Tree
Fever Tree
LIMITED EDITION Compact Disc - $14.98
(LP also available)
Fever Tree's lone hit single, the haunting 1968 tribal anthem "San Francisco Girls (Return of the Native)," perfectly captured the spirit of the psychedelic era. Although their signature hit led many to assume that they were a Bay Area band, Fever Tree actually hailed from Houston, Texas. "San Francisco Girls" is also the centerpiece of Fever Tree's self-titled first LP, one of the period's most distinctive debuts—the quintet was adept at perfectly incorporating psychedelic, jazz and classical influences into their work. Hot Tuna
Hot Tuna
• LP - $18.98
Jefferson Airplane members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady formed Hot Tuna in 1969 during a hiatus while Grace Slick recovered from throat node surgery. What began as a rootsy side project quickly became a full-fledged band, one that ultimately far out-lived the original group. Based from the start on Kaukonen's and Casady's expert musicianship, Hot Tuna sought to explore traditional blues and folk styles apart from the heavy rock sound of the Airplane. [COMPLETE INFO]

TWO FORMATS AVAILABLE:
Compact Disc - $14.98
• LP - $18.98
In 1965 Missouri-born Gene Clark was riding the crest of unprecedented success and adulation as a member of the Byrds. Anointed as America's answer to the Beatles, the Byrds topped the charts with folk-rock anthems like "Mr. Tambourine Man," "Turn! Turn! Turn!" and "Eight Miles High." Gene was front and center as tambourine player, singer and principal songwriter for the group. But in early 1966 he flew the Byrds' coop. A gifted songwriter, expectations ran high for a stellar solo career... [COMPLETE INFO]

Bob Irwin and the Pluto Walkers
Joker's Wild / The Throwaway Age
7" Single | $6.98
When Bob Irwin and the Pluto Walkers serve up the slinky, self-penned guitar instrumental "The Throwaway Age" and cut loose with "Joker's Wild," a forgotten gem buried deep in a 1965 Ventures album, it's like they're handing you a daiquiri, a pair of impenetrable sunglasses and pointing you towards an empty deck chair. Music archaeologists should be able to get a faint DNA whiff of a few of Irwin's fretboard heroes (Billy Strange, Al Caiola, Nokie Edwards) on these addictive sides, both crying out to be used on the next great HBO-TV series.
