Bobby
Wayne was born in Spokane, Washington in 1936. He discovered music
early on and by 1951 he was playing country music all over the
Pacific Northwest. In the spring of 1955, Bobby’s mother
moved to Atlanta. She brought Bobby out to visit her and while
in a diner, he had his defining moment when “Mystery Train”
blared out of the jukebox. When he asked his mother who the wild
singer was, she replied “Elvis Presley, isn’t he great?”
From that moment on Bobby was crazy for the Big Beat.. |
