Everything the soft-spoken, Glasgow-born pop star touched turned to gold, including budding friendships with Bob Dylan, Lennon & McCartney and Brian Jones of the Rolling Stones. After hanging with the Beatles, Marianne Faithfull and Mike Love at the Maharishi’s ashram, Donovan would add yet another jazzy dimension to his repertoire with a bountiful collaboration with Yardbirds guitarist Jeff Beck. |
