1966-1969 sides for Amy Records. Never gathered in one domestic
collection before, this glorious set includes his successful debut
cover of Don Gibson's "Sweet Dreams," the rocking "I
Need A Lot Of Lovin'," and everything else the mighty one waxed
for Amy Records in Muscle Shoals (with that soul-loaded hamlet's
cadre of ace sessioneers) and Nashville during his initial heyday
(he's in the midst of his second one right now!). |
